FUND TV ACTIVITIES:

  • Fund TV anually awards a prize to the best programs and advertising spots
  • Organizes a competition to choose the best fiction script
  • Edits and distributes a Guide for tv viewers, parents and teachers: "Is it possible to benefit from tv?"
  • Organizes television and education workshops for parents, teachers and pupils
  • Organizes and participates in Forums, Seminars, Courses, and Congresses in a national and international level.
  • Supports the production of tv programs with educational values
  • Organizes a data bank of national and international tv
  • Cooperates in educational campaigns with tv channels and other institutions
FUND TV understands that television enters in every home, and it has a very important influence in education, in public opinion, as well as in attitudes and ways of thinking.

FUND TV PRIZE:

Since 1993, FUND TV distinguishes programs and advertising spots with an important award, selected by a prestigious jury . The criteria to choose the winners is as follows:

  • such program should promote knowledge, creativity and social responsibility
  • it should insist in family values and a healthy coexistence
  • promote work culture
  • estimulate comunication, especially dialogue as a mean to solve problems and conflicts
  • promote comprehension in diversity reaffirming cultural identities and a sense of community

Distinctions received by FUND TV:

Our organization has received important distinctions such as:

  • In 1998 the KONEX Foundation has given us the Merit Diploma. FUND TV was chosen as one of five educational organizations with an important development in the last decade.

  • In 2002 FUND TV was awarded the Jules Verne Prize, given by the CNRS (National Scientific Research Centre) in Paris, France. This is a prize given to those projects that interrelate television and knowledge.
